Marc Doyle
Chief Executive Officer
Marc is a qualified teacher with significant leadership and management experience in the secondary sector. He joined Quest following four years as Director of Education in a large MAT, having previously held Headteacher and Executive Headteacher roles in two Academies and a free school. Marc has 20 years of experience as a senior leader in six schools across the Yorkshire and Humber region. Marc holds a National Professional Qualification for Headship and is a Trustee at Reach2, the largest Primary Academy Trust in the country. Marc is a proud dad to two daughters, Eve and Ami, who are both Primary teachers and is a lifelong supporter of Sunderland AFC.
Nicola Richards
Deputy Chief Executive Officer
Nicola has worked in Education for over 25 years. During that time, she has been fortunate to work with schools at a national level; in the EYFS, primary, secondary, mainstream and specialist settings. Nicola has held a variety of roles including; Headteacher, Executive Headteacher and National Leader of Education. Nicola joins us from REAch2, the largest primary MAT in the UK, where she worked as Deputy Director of Education.
Nicola brings with her a strong track record of improvement, including leading schools to achieve outstanding Ofsted judgements and outcomes that sit within the highest in the country.
As a mother of two, Nicola understands the importance of a strong relationship between school and home and puts an emphasis on schools working together with parents and carers to Support our Young People from Early Years to Employment.
Tonianne Hewitt
Chief Finance Officer
Tonianne has extensive experience in Finance & HR with over 15 years’ experience in school, Academy and CYPS finance and HR. Starting her career as a Finance and HR Officer, she progressed to the Head of Finance and is now the Chief Finance Officer for the Trust.
Tonianne has supported the growth of the Trust from a hard Federation to a Multi Academy Trust. Tonianne is a CIPFA Affiliate and has the ILM Award in Leadership. She has achieved Level 7 Diploma in School Finance and Operational Leadership and holds the Certificate in Financial reporting for Academies CIPFA. Tonianne provides strategic advice to the CEO, Trustees and Headteachers on complex financial issues. Her expertise includes strategic and operational management of finance and HR and extends to the areas of facilities and operational management, governance and legal matters.
Tonianne is also a Director of Play Pals Childcare and the Trust Mental Health First Aider.
Sharon Taylor
Director of Human Resources
Having recently joined Quest, Sharon brings with her over 27 years’ Human Resources experience and knowledge secured from her previous roles within Wigan Local Authority (schools).
In Sharon’s previous role as an Assistant HR Business Partner, Sharon supported many school leaders, Governors & Trustees with a wide range of Employee Relations casework and provided extensive HR and Employment Law advice and guidance.
Sharon is business and solution focused, has been the HR Link Officer to Quest for 8 years and held a pivotal role in ensuring the successful TUPE of the UCS in Bolton.
Sharon is CIPD Level 7 qualified, holds a Mental Health First Aid Certificate and is a fully qualified and experienced (ILM) Mediator.
Debra Finch
Trust Compliance Lead
Having joined the Trust in 2016, initially in the role of Executive PA, Debra has gained extensive knowledge and experience across areas within the Trust. As Compliance Lead for the Trust Debra will be part of the centralised support services including Estates and Facilities and Governance. She also works closely with the Trust’s IT Solutions provider trust-wide and has responsibility within the Trust for Data Protection.

Stephanie Maloney
Trust Business Manager
Stephanie has worked for Quest since 2011, firstly as the Admin Officer at St John's Hindley Green then, after successfully completing her CSBM qualification, as the Trust Finance Assistant across all the schools. She uses her previous experience in both Admin and IT to support the Admin team and the Business Development Department in her current role as Trust Business Manager.
Vicky Klage
Director of SEND
Vicky has worked for Quest since 2013 as the Inclusion Manager and now the Director of SEND.
Vicky is a qualified teacher with over 29 years of experience, who has worked in a range of educational settings in the UK and internationally, supporting children with SEND from birth to 18yrs. Vicky holds the National SENDCo Award and Trauma Informed Diploma and is a deputy DSL for the Trust. Originally from London, Vicky has lived in the North-West for over 10 years. She is a passionate advocate for our SEND students and their families.
Ian Barry
Secondary School Improvement Lead
Ian joins us from the Targeted Education Support Service at the local authority where he worked with primary and high schools across the borough offering specialist support. Prior to this, Ian accrued thirteen years’ experience in education as a high school and college teacher, Head of Faculty, Lead Practitioner, Director of Learning and Assistant Headteacher. His subject specialism is English and he is a qualified phonics practitioner.
Ian holds an honours degree in English and History, National Diploma in Management, postgraduate Certificate in Education, Distinction Masters in Creative Writing and - most recently - he achieved the National Professional Qualification in Senior Leadership.

Zohra Zaheer
Trust Employer Engagement Lead
Zohra began her career in the Education Sector in a supporting role working with students in a group or on a 1:1 basis.
Zohra then progressed to supporting students secure and log work placements so they would gain valuable industry experience. Zohra’s skills allowed her to forge long-lasting professional relationships with Employers and Stakeholders as she developed within the Business Development Team, her specialism being T-Level course placements.
Kate Eastwood
Director of Early Years
Kate is an experienced education leader with over 15 years' experience working across a range of settings in Yorkshire and the North West. Kate has a particular passion and expertise in early years education.
Throughout her career, Kate has held various leadership and advisory roles, always driven by her commitment to improving outcomes for children. She is persistent in her pursuit of excellence and raising standards across the schools she supports.
Kate's qualifications include a BA (Hons) in Primary Education with Early Years Specialism, a Diploma in Achievement in Urban Schools, and the National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership (NPQSL).
